Jefferson Elementary

Significance of Our Campus Name
Jefferson Elementary is named after Thomas Jefferson.  He was born on April 13, 1743 in Shadwell, Virginia.  He was the third president of the United States. He also was a draftsman of the U.S. Declaration of Independence.  He is  the statesman responsible for the Louisiana Purchase.  Jefferson died July 4, 1826 at Monticello, Virginia.
